Day 23: Enjoy the sun

Empieza el calor!!! Empezamos a usar los espacios exteriores de nuestra casa. Algunas ideas para que este espacio no pase desapercibido. 1) alfombra super colorida en el balcón. No es común poner una alfombra en el exterior, pero si se elige una de material plástico, la podemos dejar afuera todo el día. 2) colores en varios objetos. Está bueno incorporar colores en un espacio exterior porque da una imagen alegre y agradable. Los colores de las flores son los más lindos para un lugar como este: rosa, amarillo, verde, naranja, celeste, blanco, etc.. Se pueden elegir objetos con estos colores como: alfombra, almohadones, telas, mantas, mesa, etc 3) poner plantas. Algo de verde le da calidez y vida a estos espacios. Plantas con o sin flores, enredaderas, pasto, todo sirve. 4) elemento que genere sombra. Es importante contar con algo que genere sombra en este lugar, porque sino en verano no lo vamos a usar. Una sombrilla, un semi-cubierto, un toldo, un árbol, unas telas, una pérgola, una enredadera, etc. 5) decorando estos espacios con blanco, marrón y verde, más algo de color (los mencionados en el punto 2) ya quedaría un lugar muy agradable para pasar las tardes. 6) flores con perfume. Un truco muy bueno para este tipo de lugares, es colocar muchas plantas con flores que produzcan perfume, por ejemplo un jazmín. Funciona muy bien si el espacio es pequeño, como un balcón. No elegir mucha variedad de flores, porque puede no quedar bien la combinación.

Day 14: Recycled decoration

 

Reciclar, reciclar, reciclar. Se pueden hacer algunas cosas muy interesantes para decorar la casa con objetos que ya tenemos y que solemos arrojar a la basura. Tomando el orden de las fotos 1) cajas de frutas y verduras. Deben ser todas iguales y lo divertido es la forma en la cual se las ubica una con respecto a la otra, para no caer en la vulgaridad. Los objetos que se coloquen sobre o dentro de ellas deben aportar diferentes colores y formas. El florero de la izquierda rompe con la rusticidad de las cajas, aportándole unos toques de color. 2) marco de cuadro como porta fotos. Es muy sencillo de hacer. Con un marco de madera de un cuadro viejo, unos clavos, un alambre o soga y unos broches para la ropa (también de madera) se arma este porta fotos que además permite poder ir cambiando las fotos fácilmente y se puede jugar con fotos blanco y negro combinadas con fotos de color, fotos sepia, etc... 3) cuadros de flores. Se hacen con tapas de cajas de zapatos que se forran con diferentes telas de lo que a uno le guste o de las que se tengan en casa y a colgarlos. Lo divertido es hacerlos de varios tamaños, para jugar un poco con las formas. 4) asiento con libros. ¿qué hacer con los libros o revistas que ya son muy viejos, pero que no queremos tirar? porqué no hacer un asiento. Sumándole una almohada o almohadón y dos cinturones, podemos juntar la pila de revistas y armar un banco vintage. 5) latas redondas. Lo primero que se me ocurre son las latas de galletas. Son grandes y solo agregándoles un semicírculo de acrílico, unas piedras blancas y una planta o esponjas de mar podemos armar unos cuadros muy originales. 6) cajas de frutas y verduras pintadas. Las mismas cajas de la primer foto también se las puede pintar solo por dentro de diferentes colores, y mezclándolas entre sí se puede armar una pared divertida en un dormitorio de un niño. 7) gomas de auto. Quería incluir algún objeto para el exterior. El truco es saber combinar los colores de las gomas entre sí y de estas con las flores que se eligen, teniendo que estar estas últimas siempre florecidas.

Day 11: Workplace

Oficina, escritorio, área de trabajo, ...., este tipo de espacio se lo puede llamar de varias maneras. Suele ser un ambiente, en el cual, no se suele aplicar mucho diseño, pero esto debería cambiar, pues solemos pasar mucho tiempo en estos espacios. Para estos ambientes recomiendo: 1) incorporar al menos un color, para generar un lugar agradable a la vista. No tiene que ser todo gris, blanco y negro. Ciertos colores pueden mejorar el ánimo de las personas. 2) silla cómoda, es fundamental, pues nos afecta físicamente, ya que en algunos trabajos se permanece muchas horas sentado. 3) evitar el exceso de objetos sobre la mesa o escritorio. Es recomendable tener un mueble cerca para poder guardar todo y evitar la acumulación de cosas sobre el espacio de trabajo. 4) la iluminación debe ser principalmente natural y ademas se debe tener una buena iluminación artificial, cuando oscurece. 5) los colores claros en este tipo de lugares permite conseguir un ambiente más luminoso. 6) tener en cuenta la ubicación de la computadora, pues luego se deben ordenar los cables.

Day 9: Colorful living

En todos los ambientes de la casa es fundamental incorporar algo de color. El color aporta alegría y mayor luminosidad a un espacio. En esta imagen se puede ver como varios colores pueden convivir en armonía, sin saturar el lugar y sin cansar a la vista. Los tips para incorporar color en un ambiente son: 1) el o los colores que se elijan, deben repetirse, de ser posible, en cada uno de los objetos o muebles del ambiente. Como se ve en la foto, tomando como ejemplo el verde, este aparece en el mueble de la izquierda, en el almohadón que se encuentra sobre el propio mueble, sobre el sillón color rosa, en las manzanas que están sobre la mesa, en el asiento del sillón de la derecha, en el almohadón del sillón celeste y en la cortina de la ventana izquierda. Lo mismo sucede con el resto de los colores (azul claro, amarillo, naranja, etc), consiguiendo así una conexión entre todos los elementos del ambiente. 2) utilizar tonos claros, pasteles, y solo incorporar 1 tono fuerte, como sucede con el naranja en esta foto. De esta formar, se equilibran varios colores, pues si todos fuesen fuertes se destacarían en exceso y cansarían a la vista, consiguiendo que uno se aburra de los colores. El naranja fuerte que si se destaca entre todo el resto, permite darle un toque diferente, para romper con la claridad del resto de los colores. 3) los colores que están en esta foto son: verde, amarillo, naranja, rojo y azul claro. Si vemos el círculo cromático de colores que adjunto debajo del texto, podemos entender porque se consigue esta armonía entre tantos colores. Son todos suplementarios o análogos entre sí, pues, por ejemplo, los suplementarios del amarillo son el verde y el naranja, y así sucesivamente. 4) el ingreso de luz natural en el ambiente es muy importante, porque le da vida a todos estos colores. 5) el tipo de objetos que se colocan en un ambiente tan colorido, deben ser bien elegidos, para no generar una imagen confusa del tipo de lugar de la casa que pertenece, pues podrían confundirse con una habitación de una niña o una adolescente.
