Day 13: Nightstand

Mesa de luz (como se la llama en Argentina). Elegí diferentes estilos que se alejan a la clásica o típica mesa. Hasta podría ser un estante, pero siempre tiene estar, porque por lo menos un velador o un libro vamos a querer apoyar sobre ella. 1) un silla es algo que se usa actualmente, facilitando su elección, pues solo se debe elegir el color y el modelo, incluso se puede poner una silla que ya no se usa del comedor, manteniendo el mismo estilo en toda la casa. De las 2 fotos que elegí con sillas, me gusta más la de color rojo, pues su color permite abstraerse de la función real que esta cumple (asiento), para pasar a ser un mesa y objeto de decoración 2) la mesa está bien elegida, si se la combina con el color de la pared sobre la cual se la apoya. Pues si por ejemplo ubico la mesa de la primer foto sobre un pared de ladrillo a la vista, como en la última foto, esta mesa no quedaría bien. 3) la lámpara o velador que se elija, debe combinar con la mesa, pues debe tener el mismo estilo. 4) no es conveniente llenar la mesa de objetos, pues esta perderá el protagonismo, y en caso de necesitar espacio para ubicar cosas, se debe elegir una mesa con cajones o puerta. 5) las mesas de ambos lados de la cama deben ser iguales, si o si. 6) el estilo de la mesa debe ser el mismo que el de todo el dormitorio. 

Table of light (as it is called in Argentina). I choose different styles that are far to the classic or typical table. It might even be a shelf, but  should always be there, because at least a lamp or a book we want to support on it. 1) a chair is something that is currently used, making your choice, it should only choose the color and model, you can even put a chair that is no longer used the dining room, keeping the same style throughout the home. Of the 2 photos I chose chairs, I like the red, because its color can be abstracted from the real function that satisfies (seat) to become a decorative object and table. 2) the table is well-chosen , when combined with the color of the wall on which the supports. For example if I place the table in the first photo on a brick wall, as in the last photo, this table does not look good. 3) the lamp you choose, be combined with the table, it must have the same style. 4) is not convenient to fill the table of objects, as this will lose the role, and if you need space to locate things, you must choose a table with drawers or door. 5) the tables of both sides of the bed, must be equal. 6) the style of the table should be the same as that of the entire bedroom.

Day 12: Decoration in yellow

Amarillo, color alegre, vibrante, llamativo y divertido. Incluir en un ambiente algún objeto amarillo puede aportar mucho: 1) si el ambiente es poco luminoso o predominan los colores oscuros, el detalle en color amarillo es una solución interesante para contra restar esta oscuridad. 2) si se pintan las paredes de un amarillo ácido, el ambiente va a ser mucho más luminoso. Conviene pintar solo algunas de las paredes del ambiente, y no todas, solo sectorizar un lugar dentro del ambiente 3) hay varias opciones de "amarillo", pero la que mejor queda con muebles y/o piso de madera, es el amarillo ácido, como se ve en la mayoría de estas fotos. 4) no hay que excederse con este color, pues puede llegar a cansar. Lo importante es solo aplicarlo en algunos detalles: un mueble, unos almohadones, unas sillas, una alfombra, una lampara, un sillón, un cuadro, etc.. 5) los muebles de color negro y de color marrón quedan muy bien con el amarillo, por lo tanto, si se tiene una mesa de madera clásica, se le puede dar el detalle de decoración con una sillas amarillas o con unas sillas de madera que tengan almohadones amarillos. 6) solo incluyendo unos almohadones amarillos en un sillón, se cambiaría la ambientación del espacio.  

Yellow, cheerful, vibrant, attractive and fun. Include an object in yellow, can bring a lot: 1) if the environment is not very bright, or dark colors predominate, the detail in yellow is an interesting solution to subtract from this darkness. 2) if the walls are painted yellow acid, the atmosphere will be much brighter. It just paint some walls of the environment, and not all, just slice up a place within the environment 3) there are several options for "yellow", but the best is with furniture and / or wooden floor, is the acid yellow, as seen in most of these photos. 4) do not go overboard with this color,it can become tiresome. The important thing is just apply it in some detail: furniture,cushions, chairs, rug, a lamp, a chair, a table, etc. .. 5) the furniture black and brown look great with yellow, so if you have a classic wooden table, you can give the detail of decoration with yellow chairs or wooden chairs with yellow cushions. 6) only including yellow cushions on a couch, it would change the atmosphere of space.

Day 10: Interior Brick wall

Ladrillo a la vista. 1) le da una terminación muy rústica al ambiente. 2) se utiliza mucho en lofts o ambientes grandes. 3) necesita un tratamiento especial con algún barniz o sellador para evitar que genere polvo de ladrillo en el ambiente. 4) se puede pintar, manteniendo su rusticidad. Se suele pintar en blanco. 5) lo ideal es que exista ladrillo a la vista solo en una pared dentro del ambiente, o en un sector de la pared. 6) los muebles que quedan bien con este tipo de pared son los de madera con su color natural de la madera.7) una pared con ladrillo a la vista queda bien si el ambiente tiene bastante altura. 

Brick wall. 1) gives a very rustic finish to the environment. 2) is widely used in lofts or big environments. 3) need special treatment with a varnish or sealer to prevent brick dust generated in the environment. 4) can be painted, keeping its hardiness.It is usually painted white. 5) the ideal is that there is brick only in one wall of the room, or a sector of the wall. 6) furniture that fit well with this type of wall is the wood's witht his natural color of wood.7) a wall of brick is well if the environment is quite high.
