Day 28: Coffee table

Mesa ratona o mesa de café. La mesa baja que se pone en el salón junto con el/los sofá/s. Hay gran variedad de mesas bajas. 1) de vidrio. La transparencia de esta mesas generan reflejo del ambiente y mantienen un brillo constante. La desventaja es la necesidad de un mantenimiento constante. 2) baúl. Está muy de moda ubicar un baúl antiguo junto con el juego de sillones. Se lo pinta, restaura y listo para usar. La desventaja que tiene el uso del baúl, es la dificultad de su movimiento. 3) valijas. Se pueden apilar 2 o 3 valijas y se consigue la altura necesaria. La desventaja que tiene es la misma que sucede con el baúl, la dificultad para moverlas. 4) vintage. Las mesas de madera antiguas, tipo vintage, deben combinarse con el resto del muebles para crear un único estilo. 5) mesa multiuso. Hoy en día se utiliza la mesa ratona como mesa para almorzar y cenar. De esta forma uno se sienta en el sofá o en los puff. Funciona muy bien para espacios pequeños, reemplazando a la mesa comedor y sillas, ahorrando muebles y espacio. Lo ideal para estas mesas, es la altura, pues no debe ser ni muy baja ni muy alta. 6) mesa grande. Se debe tener en cuenta el espacio con el que se cuenta, para evitar luego molestias en el paso.

Day 25: Pallet Recycling

Los palets pueden tener varias funciones. 1) mesa baja en living. Se pinta el palet o se lo deja con su color madera, se le atornillan 4 ruedas pequeñas giratorias y se le apoya un vidrio por encima. También se puede poner un vidrio dentro de la estructura del palet, quedando estantes por debajo de la zona de apoyar. El palet tiene formatos diferentes en las caras de mayor superficie, por lo tanto, se lo puede ubicar en un sentido o en el otro, girándolo 180º. 2) bancos para exterior. Apilando 2, 3, 4 palets, según la altura de asiento que se quiera conseguir, se le agrega una almohadón grande o un colchón o varias almohadones pequeños y obtiene un banco para el exterior desmontable. 3) sofá. Similar al punto 2, se puede armar un sofá con palets, que además permite tener más espacio de guardado por dentro. Se juntan y apilan varios palets, según la altura que se quiera conseguir, y se le agrega un colchón o almohadones grandes y listo...sofá. 4) mueble de guardado. Apilando y juntando muchos palets se puede armar un mueble que puede servir para guardar libros, revistas, cajas, vajilla, botellas de vino, etc. En una de las fotos, este tipo de mueble se utiliza en un local comercial gastronómico. 5) cabecero de la cama. Con solo apoyarlo y/o amurarlo se obtiene un cabecero muy actual. Se lo puede pintar del color que se quiera, combinado con la decoración del ambiente o el estilo que se quiera conseguir.
