Day 35: Famous Chairs

Espectacular colección de sillas. Me gustan todas.

Spectacular collection of chairs. I like them all. They are all important and well-known designers. We are on order. 1) RAR Rocking chair by Charles Eames. Chair of 1948. This designer has many models of chairs, tables, etc.. This model comes in different formats rocking chair, with armrests  without armrests, in various colors, with the rocker, not the rocker, etc.. Complements any space, whether in a corner of the bedroom, as well as in conjunction with furniture living.2) 3107 chair by  Arne Jacobsen. Chair of 1955. This chair is widely used today, because it suits many styles, comes in several colors and come in various materials such as wood or plastic. What I find most interesting about this design is that they can be stacked, this being very useful if you have limited space, or you want to have more chairs if you are entertaining. Besides ergonomics makes it more attractive.3) The super famous Panton Chair by Verner . Chair of 1967. It also comes in different materials such as fiberglass or plastic. They come in two sizes, the very small size because there are few that serve children. Also can be stacked. They also come in various colors. It is important that it is original or manufactured with a very good material, it tends to break due to its design. 4) Tulip Chair by Eero Saarinen . Chair of 1956. This chair is very tied to one style. In the style of his era, the '60s, that is why it is often combined with the table always makes the game with the same forms and the same material. If it is combined with another style furniture is not usually well 5) Diamond chair by Harry Bertoia . Chair of 1952. I love this chair because it is so versatile. It can be placed on the outside (garden) in the living room with the rest of the furniture, you can have a completely different style or in a bedroom. On this chair we usually put a pillow or blankets, etc. .., you have to "decorate" allowing links with the rest of the decor of the environment where it is placed. 6) Eiffel Wire Chair DKR by Charles Eames. Chair 1952. Its design is a mix between Diamond chair by Harry Bertoia  and DSR chair by Charles Eames . The metal structure almost transparent, generating the advantage of small space used. They can also be used outdoors and the variety it gives cushion on the seat.7) Chair Tom Vac by Ron Arad. Chair of 2008. It is a very contemporary chair comes in different colors and different textures, either striped or smooth. It must have room for these seats, because it occupies a certain space plus what it takes to move and to sit on it.

Day 34: Stores

To return to the blog I thought the topic Stores incur. Today it is fashionable to put a new store design because the image sells more and attracts more customers. The strikingly different and usually like to go and buy time. I chose some pictures that represent some of points that are taken into account when designing this new store concept. 1) antique furniture place: it is a mixture of old and contemporary. An old table or skated with products, air gives a more traditional product or one that is at home looking to purchase. Vintage antique furniture or re-used with the same function or establishing him a new, much is being done. 2) the white: the currently widely used resource paint everything white as walls, furniture, baseboards, shelves, etc ... This produces a more light and produces a feeling of more space. Furthermore denotes purity and cleanliness. Be careful not to overdo staying with one aspect of hospital. 3) lamps actors: some of the issues that I like to the design is the use of large lamps hanging lamps or very bright designs, thus ensuring that only with some well-chosen and designed already have 70% the decoration of the store. In the 1st, 3rd and 4th picture you can see three different types of hanging lamps that give so much character to the space. The important thing is to be striking, considering the height of the ceiling, because if this is not convenient place under hanging lamps and large. Another important point is to go with the style of the store, with the image you want to display or get. 4) flooring, wood flooring: nowadays mainly used wood floors, wood platform. Its advantages are many, including gives warmth to the image of the store, the variety of finishes and colors (different types of wood) let you choose what is best for the design, is a durable material, and that it continues to spend having good looks. 5) French style: you can see in several bakeries, patisseries, cafes, etc. .. French cafe concept. This style is achieved with colors like white, pastel pink and gray, with tables and folding chairs white made with wooden boards painted as in the 5th photo, coated wooden boards painted white up to 1m high and then another termination such as a wallpaper and period furniture as Louis XV armchair.
